Privacy Policy — Pock

Connected Mate ("we", "our") developed the Pock application ("the Application") as a commercial application with optional in-app purchases. This page is intended to inform users about our policy regarding the collection, use and disclosure of personal information.

1. Data Collected

Pock does not collect any personal data.

All financial information you enter into the app (amounts, account names, goals, income, expenses) is stored exclusively on your device (iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch). None of this data is transmitted to our servers or to any third party.

2. Data Storage

Data is stored locally on your device via:

  • Local application storage (UserDefaults, SwiftData)
  • App Groups for synchronization between the main app, widgets and Apple Watch

If you use iCloud, your data may be synchronized across your Apple devices via Apple's private iCloud storage. In that case, data is encrypted and managed by Apple in accordance with their own privacy policy.

3. Payment Data

In-app purchases (Pock Premium subscription) are processed exclusively by Apple via the App Store. We do not have access to your payment information (credit card, Apple ID, etc.).

4. Third-Party Services

Pock uses only one external service:

  • Frankfurter API (European Central Bank): To retrieve currency exchange rates. This API does not receive any personal data from you. Only an anonymous request is sent to obtain the day's rates.

5. Cookies and Trackers

Pock uses no cookies, no trackers, no analytics tools (no Google Analytics, no Firebase, no Mixpanel, etc.). We do not track your usage of the application.

6. Data Sharing

We do not share, sell or rent any personal data to third parties. We simply have no data to share since everything stays on your device.

7. Security

While we do not store any data on our servers, we take the security of your local data seriously:

  • Option to protect the application with a password
  • Face ID and Touch ID support
  • Amount blurring for discretion

8. User Rights

Since your data is stored locally, you have full control:

  • Access: All your data is visible within the application
  • Modification: You can modify all your data at any time
  • Deletion: You can delete all your data via Settings > Reset Data, or by uninstalling the application
  • Portability: You can export your data as PDF (Premium feature)

9. Children

Pock is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

10. Changes to This Policy

We reserve the right to modify this privacy policy. Changes will be published on this page with an updated date.
